Our mission to reduce food waste and hunger in El Paso.

Our Mission

EP Food Share is a platform that connects restaurants with surplus food to shelters and community organizations in need across El Paso, Texas. We believe that good food should never go to waste when there are people who need it.

How It Works

  1. Restaurants register and list their surplus food donations with details like quantity, expiry, and pickup instructions.
  2. Shelters browse available donations near them and submit claim requests.
  3. Restaurants review and approve claims, then arrange pickup.

Legal & Compliance

EP Food Share operates in compliance with the Texas Good Faith Donor Act and the federal Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act, which protect food donors from liability when donating in good faith.
